And listen to Jesus as He offered Himself to the crowds one day in Jerusalem.
John 7:37 “In the last day, that great day of the feast, Jesus stood and cried, saying, If any man thirst, let him come unto me, and drink. (38) He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water. (39) (But this spake he of the Spirit, which they that believe on him should receive: for the Holy Ghost was not yet given; because that Jesus was not yet glorified.)” Colossians 2:19 “And not holding the Head, from which all the body by joints and bands having nourishment ministered, and knit together, increaseth with the increase of God.” Can you see what the LORD desire is here for us? Nourishment, knitting us together, and increasing us with the increase of God Himself.
You live in this physical realm; but you who belong to Christ are not of this world. We are in the kingdom of God. We are part of the invisible kingdom. And our king is our Head. He will supply your every need. What a wonderful Savior and LORD we have. So, let me ask you. Are you in? Is the LORD Jesus yours? Do you belong to Him? Does He belong to you? Are you personally dependent upon the King? If not, why not? Christ has made a way for you to enter that kingdom today if you have not yet done so. Would you be willing settle this matter with the LORD today? He’s ready and waiting for you. “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son that whososever believes on Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” |
John 3:36 “He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him.”
This is the reason why we command you to repent and believe on Christ. Here’s the simple truth of Scripture. Acts 20:21 “Testifying both to the Jews, and also to the Greeks, repentance toward God, and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.” Acts 17:30 “… but now commandeth all men every where to repent:…” When you repent, you could say to God “I change my mind about God, Christ, faith, my sin, and God’s free gift of salvation.” When you believe, you could say to God “I simply trust Jesus Christ alone as the One Who paid the entire penalty for my sins.” Have you repented of your sin and placed your faith in Jesus Christ alone for your eternal security? Listen to one final word from Jesus if you are one of those who are standing outside. Revelation 3:20 “Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.” Have you opened the door? Today is the Day of salvation. Today, if you will hear His voice, do not harden your hearts. Trust Jesus Christ and He will come into your life. Here’s the sinner’s prayer. Have you prayed it? “LORD, thank you for your forgiveness. Thank you that Your forgiving me is full and complete. Thank you for the work of Jesus Your Son who paid the entire debt of my sin so that I can enjoy the full debt cancelled.” Now, as His child, will you surrender to Jesus Christ and commit all your trust to Him? Will you look to Him today as The Supply for all your needs? Shall we pray? |
