Second, there’s nothing wrong with the Bible – anywhere.
Third, if God said it; that settles it.
Yes, we have our own ideas. We have our own ways. We have our own systems; we have things that work well in the world. But God’s ways are specifically designed so that we will learn what He’s like and that He says what He means and means what He says. The Kohathites, remember, were called by the LORD to do the work of dismantling, moving, and setting up the entire Tabernacle. Why? Because these were the holy men He set aside to do this work.
God’s ways are always for our benefit. One of the best things we can do in life is to search out the LORD’s ways. Study His word and find His principles on how to live in this world. And I know it sounds very simple. But, if He said it; that settles it. Our place is to yield our hearts and lives to Him.
So, when we don’t understand something either in our lives or in the Bible, don’t stand in judgment of your Creator. Instead, step back and say
1. God always does the right thing.
2. There’s nothing wrong with the Bible.
3. And If God said it; that settles it.
You see, none of us has a right to stand in judgment of the LORD. If and when something occurs that we do not understand, God grants to us the grace to surrender ourselves to Him and find His grace to be sufficient. And the greatest way to live your life in this world is to live with a surrendered heart. Here’s a Prayer of Surrender that’s well worth memorizing and then applying to your heart each day. It’s really your prayer and it’s mine.
"LORD, I submit all that I am to you; my spirit, my soul, and my body. Do with me what is most pleasing to you. Work out Your will upon me today."
Have you surrendered your life into His hands – just for today? Knowing that He’s got tomorrow and all your tomorrows well in hand? As you know, it’s always best to apply the principles of the Bible to your circumstances.
Is this your prayer? If not, why not? [And for those who have never repented and believed on Christ, here’s the most important question you’ll ever be asked.
So, the most important question you’ll ever be asked is this. What will you do with Jesus Christ? He is the Only One Who can save you from the penalty and power of your sins. So, here’s what you need to see. Jesus Christ came to the earth to die to pay the penalty for your sins. And, today, if you will repent of your sins and put your trust on Christ for eternal life, you will immediately become a child of God. You will receive the Free Gift of eternal life.
Jesus said “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man cometh unto the Father, but by Me.” “God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”
It’s your sin that separates you from Him. Here’s what He says about that. Isaiah 59:2 says this. “But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he will not hear.”
The Scriptures teach that Today is the Day of Salvation. Why not right now pray the salvation prayer?
Here’s that wonderful prayer. “I admit to You that I am a sinner and deserve Your justice for my sins. I now see that you are a God of grace and that by grace I can be saved. Here is a simple and a wonderful salvation prayer. You only need to pray it once and the LORD forgives you forever and you become His child. “I admit to You that I am a sinner and deserve Your justice for my sins. I now see that you are a God of grace and that by grace I can be saved. Please forgive me of my sins. I receive Jesus Your Son as my Savior and LORD. Amen”
So what will you do this week with these Scriptures? Will you look to the LORD for His free gift of salvation?
